Anyone remember Paddington Bear from elementary school days? October 13th marked his 50th birthday!
"A Bear Called Paddington" was first published in 1958 in the United Kingdom. Dozens of books about the marmalade-loving bear have been published since.
In other news, a very happy belated birthday! goes to Michael (19 years on 10/9).
